DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION is 5:30pm on April 28, 2017.

 

Completed Application & fees may be delivered to the Bloomingdale City Hall at #8 West Hwy 80, dropped in the mail drop box next to the drive-up window or mailed to 205 E. Hwy 80, Bloomingdale, Ga.  31302. 

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.)
 Merchant agrees to abide by all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to health, fire prevention and public safety.
2.)  Bloomingdale History Society reserves the right to deny sale of any items not deemed appropriate.  Merchant is solely responsible for the collection and payment of any/all applicable sales tax.
3.)  Merchant agrees to set up designated booth before 7:45am on Saturday May 6, 2017 and be open for business by 8:00am. The Merchant must remain open until 2:00pm.  Merchants will be permitted to start setting up at 6:30am Saturday morning.  The merchant area should be cleaned and left in the condition it was found.  The merchant area should be cleared no later than 4:00pm.

4.) Vehicles are allowed in the merchant area as close as possible to your booth during set-up times and must be moved to a designated parking area no later than 7:45am.  There shall be NO parking in restricted areas.

5.) Merchants are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary condition at all times.  Merchants shall be responsible for removing any and all trash from their booth and surrounding area and disposing it in the designated recycling or trash container provided.   NOTE:  All large items, electronics and items not sold MUST be removed by the merchant.
6.) Merchant agrees to stock sufficient inventory, supplies or commodities to fill their table.  Merchant understands that there is in no way a guarantee of sales during the event.

7.)  Merchants with children- all parents shall supervise or provide adult supervision for their children. Parents

shall be responsible for any damages to persons/property caused by lack of supervision.  Merchants found having

unattended children will be asked to leave the event and will not be invited back.  If you cannot comply with this rule, please do not apply for space.

8.)  Merchant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Bloomingdale History Society and City of Bloomingdale, its presenters, agents and employees from any and all claims, causes of action suits, damages, theft, injuries and losses to any person or goods arising out of or in any way connected with the renting of space in the event.  Merchant agrees that this is intended to be a full and final compromise and release of any claims, demands, causes, actions and causes of actions known or unknown.
9.)  Bloomingdale History Society will not be liable for refunds or any other liabilities whatsoever for the disruption of the event due to reason of enclosure in which the event is to be produced, being before or during the festival, destroyed by fire or other calamity, or by any Act of God (including but not limited to weather), public enemy, strikes, statutes, or any other cause.   Bloomingdale History Society has the option to cancel the event by May 3, 2017 and will return 100% of booth fees to merchants if cancelled.
10.)  Merchant agrees to maintain the dignity and integrity of Bloomingdale History Society and will not perform any acts of a harmful nature.   Bloomingdale History Society reserves the sole right to ask any merchant or its associates to leave the event that they feel are not acting in the best interest of the event.
11.)  Merchant understands that upon confirmation and payment, merchant booth fees are non-refundable.
12.)  Sales or Distribution of the following items will be strictly prohibited: Illegal Substances such as drugs or drug paraphernalia, Alcoholic beverages, Animals / pets, Guns, or other mechanical weaponry - No WEAPONS may be sold whatsoever.
13.)  Merchant agrees that any photographs taken during the event may be used for promotional or informational purposes in brochures, website and newsletters.  Merchant agrees that the uses of any photos are to be without compensation to participant of any kind.

14.)  This agreement constitutes the entire contract between Bloomingdale History Society and the merchant.  No changes shall be valid unless agreed to by both parties in writing.
