Official Minutes of Special Called Council Meeting – October 26, 2012

Approved by City Council November 15, 2012

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tipton. Councilmembers Baxter, Crosby, Griffin, Kerby, Myrick, Attorney Dickey, City Administrator Akridge, and Asst. City Clerk Diane Proudfoot were present.

Council discussed the L.O.S.T. options presented by Chatham County and reviewed a letter from Mayor Edna Jackson requesting the Mayors of the eight municipalities of Chatham County to sign of an open-end LOST letter of response.  A consensus of the attending councilmembers was to allow Attorney Dickey to correspond with John Hart on behalf of the City.

There being no further business, Councilman Kerby made a motion to adjourn.  Councilwoman Griffin seconded the motion and it passed with five affirmative votes.

Respectfully submitted,

Diane Proudfoot, Asst. City Clerk
